WORMS WORMS WORMS WORMS WORMS !

Room 2 measuring 6.7 metres.

We just had to make a 6.7 metre worm! We call him Wilbour.

WE  LOVE  WORMS !!

As you can see we have been studying about worms and we looked at how worm farms work. The children found out that worm pee is extremely good for the garden and helps to grow healthy vegetables.

WE WANT ONE !!

So, we challenged the children to put their thinking caps on. Their mission . . . .     to design and build a prototype worm farm that would be sustainable, creative and would effectively collect worm pee.

The worm farm prototypes looked fantastic. Congratulations to Manu, Jaimee and Astrid for their winning designs. Watch this space for the construction of the life sized version coming soon. (Because our worms are feeling a bit cramped in the small models!)
